Larger Maps
The maps are a good size already, but when multiplayer comes around I think it might be cool for bigger maps. Especially if that PVP suggestion is added, bigger maps would probably be very helpful.

Larger maps are unfortunately out of the question, as the performance of the game would be very negatively impacted by that. 12x12 is our upper limit and we don't even use it in the Campaign mode because of performance considerations. -

Rüdiger (Subtra)The Max Size of a Map is 12 x 12, so its pretty big already, you can technically mod it to be bigger but i just cant recommend it, i tried, hell other people tried and the engine almost died every other time because it is at its limits with this size, you dont have to have to forget you are building stuff on top of it. it will slow down to a standstill even on smaller maps.

TeKettFrom my own experience with the mod, that seems to have been removed from nexus mods (the one with different size multiplers between 0.5 and 2), you can make maps 50% bigger (whatever that means) with no issues

ArcBluemultiplayer already will eat up more performance, so adding larger maps on top of that sounds like crazy town. However, as another suggested, game mods will enable you to alter the size of maps. What I'd rather see is the in-game ability to change or randomize the shape of the map. Currently, most campaign maps are 8x8 tiles i believe. But being able to play on 6x10 or 9x7 maps would make things a little more varied. I would like a random shape within a few tile squares difference be implemented, but I understand it prolly isnt really a big enough benefit to make it worth the time to change.
