Loadouts
A way to set custom loadouts to instantly swap weapons, upgrades, and abilities. This is just because I’m lazy, but it would be nice to instantly swap to a builder loadout with all the building speed and cost reduction upgrades, or a mobility loadout with movement speed upgrades , or radar loudout with all sonic sensor upgrades, so on and so forth.

Each loadout could have a separate 1-9 hotkey functionality, like combat loadout would have fighting abilities under 1-9 keys. But loadout 2 for cost reduction, and we could put eg. mines, wind turbines, and pipes and pumps on the 1-9 shortcuts, and on yet another one, walls, gates, turrets and radars on 1-9 buttons. Maybe switched with the same hotkey as the Items loadout, or with a separate hotkey, just like in Factorio. -

nicolasmelchor05This would add a new layer of customization, as well as serving for some really nice quality of life update!

DarkICE09Loadouts could be tied to armory research and only available to instantly swap if there is an armory of the required level (of the weapons/equipment you are swapping) in the zone you are currently in. This would allow for the loadout swapping while still having a reason to make a decently developed base in whatever zone you are in.

Piotr Bomak AdminThis is a feature that we discussed internally. It's a lot more complex than it would seem at first. I'm going to leave this as 'under consideration', but I'd love to see it added myself.

Mordricin general just the ENTIRE inventory gui needs some quality of life love with special mention to mods ands crafting list
like making identical abilities 1 item that opens a submenu to select element and quality fx. could do the same for crafting
making the area clicked on more responsesive would help too
and make the double click a single click -

The_GreamI believe a better option than adding a complex load out system would be … just make the passive upgrades you research and build truly passive. Don’t require players to equip or decide between a load out.
Readjust the cost and perks of each passive upgrade. If cost increases wasn’t enough for some of the upper level upgrades, attach them to fauna/flora levels. -

ArcBlueI agree, but mostly just for the switching out of mobility items i.e. dash, jump, transport, etc. Those items are a pain to go into menu just to change when you need to change your approach to tactics. When I need to camo up for a while, being able to use a shortcut key would be awesome.

MewYes absolutely I'd love to have a
Building Cost/Time reduction Loadouts for general base building,
Looting Loadouts for when I wanna farm mods,
Maximum tank load out when I go into tought fights,
Scout Loadouts when I'm exploring the map
Anti-Element loadouts for tought enemies of an element
Element Loadouts to counter stuff
I mean it's all self explanatory, it would help a lot with the more difficult parts of the game and make combat flow a lot better. -

BlackRedDeadhow is this more complicated than saving world state data? - just register what is equiped, safe that info somewhere, load and replace equipment - if you can do it manually, you can do it via script, and far more easyer in code!
