Ability to rename outposts at will!
After completing a mission, we usually set the outpost to produce some valuable resource to help us finish the campaign mode. Problem is, when you have more than 10 outposts and they're all named [Outpost X], it gets really confusing even with the resources window available. In the end, you will still be warping between the ones you THINK you're looking for and going through multiple loading screens just to find the one you actually want.
Let us name the outposts as we see fit. "Uranium mining", "Plantation outpost" or even "Dicks of the Round Table", anything that helps us identify what outpost does what would help immensely!

Only recently discovered this game. I guess it used to work differently, as currently outposts are linked to specific mission maps. However, I assume this naming issue would still be useful for naming mission maps AND an ability to name fast travel portals. Both would be nice for managing the many possibilities across multiple maps and various building areas in each map. The outpost itself is only built once per map, but naming of portals would be really great. Hopefully this request isnt considered void by changes in the game and they will let us name things which can be viewed on the minimap or in the mission map selector of the orbital scanner. -

Michael BreauxPossibly also the ability to change their icon? Differentiate a mining outpost from a harvesting outpost etc.

RickThis is an absolute must have. I have built specialised outposts, and I always find myself havinf to select them all one by one to figure which one is the cobalt one, which one is the hazenite one, and so on. Giving them names would be a great quality of life improvement.

RhostaI feel like there is a conflict in game design between encouraging to move away with mech and operate throughout the map and actually stay in the base and develop it.
I would prefer if buildings were overall more like a temporary boost thing, that can be built very quickly on demand and expires after a while.
I suspect it is unlikely, you will redesign the game, but I think it is possible to add development branches, that would allow this as one of the options. -

havicwindIt seems so small but I wanted this more than anything else going through the campaign. I kept paper notes to keep track of what I was using the outposts for to work around it.

Tilk-HeroAgreed with that suggestions. I have 4-5 outposts and i need remember them by picture. Too hard navigate the "outpost 1", "outpost 2", "outpost 3", etc.

LaernuI don’t feel like this is a requirement or a “need” by any means. I remember them fine.
But I also cant say its un-wanted.
Id surely use it. Basic naming feels niche so let us change the names -
