1.pterodactyl-like creatures that pick Mr Riggs up and carry him up to a plateau or cliff, or drop him in some sludge, etc
2. large slow-flying bomber enemies that can poop acid on your buildings and cause damage-over-time
3. flying enemy coordinators that hover over sensitive base components and call to enemies to target your vital base elements until you kill the flying unit
4. worms that come up from the ground and are able to go back down when they take too much damage too quickly
5. underground nests that spew large amounts of enemies and maybe can carry you down into a small nest area or erode the ground underneath you so you fall in and must defeat them to escape, maybe biome specific
6. hot springs creatures that come up from deep water springs: like worms, slugs, or eels
7. docile humongous beetles that become aggressive during wave attacks or when attacked, 20x size
8. living moss that come together into a blob when provoked and leave sticky trails or can envelope Riggs -

DanturnIt would be nice to see new enemies that have high resistance (or even total resistance) to most of the available weapon types - they would be able to be hit by, for example, 1-2 types of weapon only.
Big monsters, something like a mother ship that produces minor monsters all the time and to destroy it you must first aim at the right part firstly.
Mutant versions of the current monsters which, for example, would be much (much!) faster or resistant to some kind of damage, or bigger, slower but significantly more powerful (maybe even could destroy a wall with one hit). -

VortexThe DLC has a lot of neat enemies already, but at least in my game none of them attacks my main base.
The flying types for example. Also the suicide bombs could be dangerous to our walls (if enough hp).
Some others i can think of:
- Bigger flying enemies
- Some long range unit which could outgun our normal artillery making us get out there and kill it ourselves
- Something that digs a tunnel and pops up behind our walls pouring our enemies
- Something that can jump over the walls
In general more hp/resistances on harder difficulties/longer game time/tech progress. -

KilltechHow about special enemies that are not just resistant to a specific damage type but are also charged by it and made more fierce - so the player has to think more how to setup the composition of defenses.
For example some energy monsters may be charged by some energy damage and their damage output would be increase.
Others may charge up a resistance effect or even an AoE shield protecting surround mobs.
Other may ricochet/reflect certain damage back in the direction they were shot from.
One could have some a special death effect when they are killed by a specific damage type: A corpse explosion for example or an EMP shock wave.
Other then that, it would be cool to have some enemies with a radar jamming ability (effectively preventing player defenses from spawn killing)
And finally i would like to suggest a Nydus worm: enables enemy swarms to tunnel a players defense by creating underground tunnels. -

SenorRagequit AdminAn enemy which can pick up smaller enemies (canoptrix f.e) and throw them behind player defenses

DeathwingDuck- Boss-enemys that needs a tactic (attack from behind to deal biggest damage, front is heavy armored) (armor plates that needs a different type of damage to be destroyable) (only takes damage with mine/nuklear mine and u need to kite him over minefields)
- Big worms that dig tunnels, sometimes behind ur wall/dig tunnels that other enemys can use to get behind walls (nydus worm from starcraft)
- 1 or 2 more flying units
- jumping enemys
- more enemy buildings/towers, enemy base -

Michael BreauxNydus Worms like StarCraft, allowing groups of enemies to travel quickly long distances, perhaps as a map feature (possibly allowing enemy waves to come from unexpected directions.)
Have nests as a map feature; they awaken when you get too close or reach certain thresholds.
Migrating creatures that move across the map in a large wave; possibly locusts (destroying plants in the way), or some kind of resource-dropping enemy (like the snails, perhaps some kind of beetle or bird.) Maybe even an incursion of metal terror creatures that, if they aren't stopped, will set up some kind of small outpost to launch attacks against you.
Large or multi-part enemies that have different attacks or abilities that can be destroyed. Perhaps if left alive long enough they will establish a nest. -

CILinkzmaybe some interactions between Bonus Objectives and Waves. if a Nest is currently active, it doesnt spit out those small Canoptrix if at the same time a wave hits, it either spits out really hard ones or it evolves one level and now it spawns harder ones at all times. if at the next wave it isnt cleared either it evolves again and so on. same with Bosses. maybe with Bosses, if it evolves 2 times it starts attacking you with the next wave and some additional Units that are some Elites.

UncleKumaMore specialized enemy for late stage and make them a lot tougher for late game. Like those who can jump over wall, fly, dig tunnel, disable tower, etc.. and jumbo powerup version of those specialized enemy bosses.
Also, show the enemy type on waves spawn point and estimated route like in XMorph defense so we can do a counterplay on which defensive tower to build and position. -

MonolythI don't want so much for new enemies to be added, but rather for the current ones to be more diverse and unique. Right now there are only a handful of enemy types per region, and a lot of those enemies simply only get "upgrades" as you progress through the story, or have minor variations otherwise.

JCombining the expanding yeast colony behavior with the x-morph buildings would make for a cool enemy. Out of control AI thing taking over a whole zone.

1000i100I love if the enemy IA is improved :
- between each wave a damage map is recorded, and previous one is kept but with a lower accuracy score.
- where enemy take damage from us is recorded as place to avoid (to find weakness in our defenses)
- where enemy make damage to us is recorded as place to go (to use found weakness even more)
and why not basic enemy don't use damage map if not mixed with boss to start with easy enemy and continue with harder to contain because boss are brain for there wave.
PS : for tunnel / nydius enemy, i would love if foot plate (like for sand or acid) block them. -

Seasonal SalmonAny enemies that look like xenomorphs, dead space creatures or starship trooper bugs (not exact copy for IP reasons, but inspired from). I'm TIRED of overly colorful enemies, I just feel guilty killing wildlife.

CILinkzhow about Prioritizing from all the different Monsters. the big ones stay the same, they just straight out ram into the walls and bash them to shreds but the little ones try to find openings and try to take out turrets or other structures then walls. maybe let them jump walls on higher difficulties. they are pretty squishy so they should stay relevant on higher levels.

Weining ChangOcean and orbital biome enemies.
More flying enemies, also scan flying fauna, I don't think you can scan flying fauna. -

ZavEnemies that tunnel and either pop up behind your walls, or in flanking positions allowing CQC units to get in close to your walls.
You can throw grenades at tunnels to collapse them -

ZavMore boss level enemies that attack bases would be near. Not more in that there’s a bunch of boss tier enemies in a wave. But more so like a few bosses that are almost like generals. They have abilities and move sets that can wreck player defense if they aren’t killed quick

Rogue0257How about an enemy that is in different phase depending on day/night or during ion storms. Would have unrestricted movement while out of phase, but can show up anywhere, (even inside your base) during their time in phase.
