Add unit creating buildings, allowing for PvP / PvE(A.I. army builder)
Allow for unit spawning buildings, where they either spawn a unit every X sec/min, which runs towards the enemy base/stronghold, or has a wave format, where they will create up to X units, after which they will wait for you to press the 'release wave button', so the game keeps the spirit of base building, while expanding on playstyles. This also keeps a PvP format away from just being 'get a weapon and shoot the opponent in the face'

This, unfortunately, goes against the design of the game and would drastically change gameplay. It's an idea for a separate game, to be honest :) We're not planning on adding such functionality, unfortunately. -

TeKettWould this not just make the game an RTS? I get the idea, and iv played a ton of starcraft / WC3 and their custom maps, but it would be like making a completely different game.

Joakim SchackI get what you mean, but not really as you wouldn't be able to control the units, you only determine the timing of the waves (if even that, as it might just be every X seconds/minutes the building creates a drone and sends it off). So it is more a game of attrition and out-smarting your opponent/the A.I.'s tower choice by building/sending what they are bad against. This also alligns with the whole 'X time until incoming wave'-format of the base game.
Alternatively you just get a gun and immediately wreck the opponents towers and them - then you've got a really boring top-down FPS, where the core of the Riftbreaker game gets thrown out the window -

DynalonI think if this gets implemented it should be only in limited scope. Something like building which allows you to deploy limited number of scouting drones, which you can control. Factory buildings which produce units do not really fit the theme of the game.
