Anti-artillery turret
Basically, this turret would be entirely dedicated to intercepting enemy artillery fire. Bomogan acid balls, Nurglax maggot balls, anything that lobs a projectile at you/your base. However, the downsides would be that there's only so many projectiles a single turret can intercept, and that there's some units with longer ranged Area-of-effect attacks that aren't projectiles you can intercept (like Lesigian's lightning strikes or Gnerot's rock spikes).

even if we outrange enemy arty it wont really be ''anti-arty'' unless there is a setting to make our arty choose far ranged enemies instead of the same as all the other towers target chewing on the walls -

Piotr Bomak Admin PinnedThe counter for enemy artillery is the player's artillery - you can outrange all enemies using proper towers. That being said - we're going to add more towers with each expansion, so I'll leave this as 'under consideration'.

DasYiI support this one, current drone tower is suck, simply change it to PD drone is better. Especially intercept siege frogs and snails.

MrRiggsA "ranged-units teleport tower" would be fun watch at work: every x seconds, it would teleport a Bomogan say 2 meters in front of it, resulting in a quick and joyful annihilation by usual towers.

BlackbirdI'd say, maybe not turret, but for drone turret, add ability to shot down projectiles, same as drones on Mr.Riggs. Limit it with cooldown, or additional research. I thik it will be good compromiss.
